The leadership of Vancouver Whitecaps has officially announced a contract extension for Thomas Muller. The German international has committed to the Canadian club until the end of the 2027 MLS season.
The previous agreement was set to expire at the end of 2026. Sporting director Axel Schuster highlighted the player's vital role in shaping the team's winning mentality and their historic success in winning the MLS Cup.

Muller's impact on the Whitecaps' performance has been significant since his arrival in August 2025. He has recorded 31 goal contributions (19 goals and 12 assists) in 45 matches across all competitions. Beyond his individual stats, the German has been a pillar of consistency: in the 29 MLS matches he started, Vancouver secured 19 victories.
This extension secures the club's leader for the coming years as they continue their pursuit of silverware on all fronts.
