Sunderland have officially announced a new contract extension for striker Brian Brobbey. The 24-year-old Dutch forward has committed his future to the club, with the new deal running until the summer of 2031.
Brobbey moved to the Black Cats in the summer of 2025 in a transfer from Ajax worth 20 million euros. Since his arrival, he has made 40 appearances and scored ten goals. In the current campaign, he has already found the net three times in eight matches.
The move comes as the club looks for stability, currently sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table with only five points from nine matches.
The team will shift their focus to European competition tomorrow, November 5, as they face Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.
