Sky secures broadcasting rights for Euro 2028 and UEFA tournaments

Sky has announced a new agreement with UEFA, significantly expanding its football broadcasting portfolio. The deal grants the media group rights to cover Euro 2028, the Nations League, and the European Qualifiers.

Giuseppe De Bellis, EVP Sport, News and Entertainment at Sky, stated that the agreement strengthens the broadcaster's position as a premium UEFA partner. Beyond international fixtures involving other nations, the network will place a heavy focus on the Italian national team. Sky plans to follow the Azzurri throughout their Nations League and Euro 2028 qualification journey, providing continuous updates from the training camp in Coverciano and on-site reporting during away games.

Sky Sport will deliver its signature coverage for every live event, backed by daily in-depth studio analysis, features, and expert commentary. Subscribers will have access to the best group-stage matches of the 2026/2027 Nations League, which begins on 24 September, as well as the full Nations League Finals in June 2027. Coverage also extends to every qualifier and play-off match for Euro 2028, alongside major international friendlies.

Technological innovation remains central to the experience, with advanced analysis tools integrated into the broadcasts. The coverage will culminate at Wembley, which is set to host eight matches of the 2028 tournament, including the semi-finals and the final.
