Raphinha suffers injury during Brazil match

Barcelona forward Raphinha suffered an injury during Brazil's 4-2 friendly victory over Australia. The 29-year-old winger started the match and converted a penalty just before halftime to level the score at 2-2.
However, the player did not return for the second half, as the coaching staff was forced to replace him due to muscle discomfort. While the substitution was a precautionary measure, the situation has caused concern for Barcelona, who had previously requested the national federation to manage the player's minutes during the international break. Raphinha has been in exceptional form during the 2026/27 season, tallying 14 goals in eight appearances for the Catalan club.
