Following their hard-fought 1-0 victory over Belgium this Monday, the France squad has been granted a day of rest by head coach Zinedine Zidane. The move comes after the team secured two wins in their first two matches under the new manager's leadership.
The players, who returned to the Clairefontaine training base late Monday night, have been given the day off this Wednesday. Everyone is expected to report back to the National Football Centre by dinner time to resume their preparations.
This brief break serves as a recovery period before the team refocuses on their upcoming fixture. Training will resume tomorrow as Les Bleus prepare to face Italy this Friday at 20:45. The match will mark Zidane's first home game since taking charge of the national side.
