Raphinha wants to extend Barcelona contract and finish career at the club

Barcelona winger and captain Raphinha is looking to commit his long-term future to the Catalan club. In an interview with RAC1's Tu diràs program, the Brazilian forward expressed his clear intent to sign a new deal with the team.
His current contract runs until 2028. Raphinha explained that when he previously signed his extension, he was uncertain about his career trajectory beyond his early 30s, but his perspective has since shifted toward staying at the club indefinitely.
Yes, I am thinking about an extension. When I extended my contract, I did it until 2028 thinking that I would be 30 or 31, and I didn't know how things would develop. I would be very happy to extend my contract and I hope to finish my career here, without going anywhere else. Raphinha
The player emphasized his strong emotional connection to the club and his hope that he will not need to look for opportunities elsewhere.
