Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri has become a primary target for several European giants. Following long-standing interest from Real Madrid, both PSG and Barcelona have now entered the race for the Ballon d'Or winner.
Reports suggest that the Parisian club has revised its recruitment strategy to include the 30-year-old Spaniard. Meanwhile, the Catalan club is searching for midfield reinforcements following the injury to Frenkie de Jong.
Despite the intensified competition, Real Madrid remains in the strongest position to secure the deal. The Madrid club has reportedly already reached a preliminary agreement with the player regarding personal terms.
Rodri's current contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2027, with his market value estimated at approximately 55 million euros.
