Liverpool maintains an interest in Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stanković. The Premier League side had previously inquired about the 21-year-old's availability during negotiations with the Italian club regarding Curtis Jones.
According to reports, Liverpool explored the possibility of a swap deal involving the Serbian midfielder, but Inter decided to retain the player for the current season. Despite this, the Reds have kept the playmaker on their scouting radar.
Liverpool is reportedly planning a midfield overhaul in 2027, which could see Stanković emerge as a primary target once again. A product of the Inter youth academy, he previously spent time on loan at Luzern and had a stint at Club Brugge, before Inter exercised a buy-back clause to bring him home.
The midfielder enjoyed a productive campaign last season, recording 55 appearances with nine goals and five assists to his name.
