Donetsk Shakhtar secured a comfortable 2-0 victory against Obolon in the eleventh round of the Ukrainian Premier League. Following the match, head coach Arda Turan shared his thoughts, emphasizing tactical discipline and the development of the squad's young talent.
The Turkish manager explained that the low goal-scoring rate of his central strikers is a result of their commitment to defensive work and high pressing. For Turan, the priority is building a unified family-like unit, which he values more than the final scoreline.
Turan highlighted his Brazilian players, stating they have the potential to earn a call-up to the Brazil national team. "Currently, Kauan Elias, Pedro Henrique, and Vinicius Tobias are the closest to that," Turan noted.
He also praised the growth of Alisson Santana, describing his impact on the team as massive. The coach added that young talents like Bruninho and Rayan also possess the potential for future international recognition, viewing their call-ups as a matter of time.
