Juventus silenced their critics with a solid 2-0 victory over Napoli at the Allianz Stadium. The hosts controlled the proceedings in the second half to secure three vital points.
The breakthrough came in the 70th minute when Alajbegovic smashed an angled shot off the post and into the net following a surge by Zhegrova. The game was put out of reach in the 87th minute as Boga curled a right-footed effort into the far corner after a setup by Cambiaso.
Napoli's hopes faded when Marianucci was sent off in the 75th minute after receiving a second yellow card for a foul on Cabal. Earlier in the match, Juventus goalkeeper Vicario proved decisive with key saves, particularly denying Lucca in the opening stages.
Following the result, Juventus remain eighth in the standings, while Napoli find themselves six points adrift of the Champions League qualification spots.
