Jackson could move to Aston Villa — Romano

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson could be on the move this summer while remaining in the Premier League. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Aston Villa have renewed their interest in the 25-year-old Senegalese international.

The Birmingham-based club previously attempted to sign the striker last summer. It is understood that Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is personally driving the pursuit, having previously coached the player during their time together at Villarreal.

Jackson spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich, where he made 34 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists. He has also featured in four matches during the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, registering one assist.
