Hajime Moriyasu highlights Daichi Kamada's role in Japan's World Cup win
Following Japan's 4-0 victory over Tunisia, manager Hajime Moriyasu praised the tactical impact of moving Daichi Kamada into an attacking position.

Japan is making a strong impression at the start of the World Cup. After securing a 2-2 draw against the Netherlands in their opening match, the Samurai Blue dominated Tunisia with a 4-0 victory. Manager Hajime Moriyasu expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance, which puts them in a strong position for the knockout stages.
The coaching staff made five changes to the starting eleven for the match. The most significant tactical adjustment was moving Daichi Kamada from his central role in the previous game to the left wing. The Crystal Palace player rewarded the manager's trust by opening the scoring as early as the 4th minute.

Reflecting on the lineup changes, Moriyasu explained that the decision was based on the team's current needs. Although Kamada has primarily been deployed as a defensive midfielder recently, the coach decided to leverage his offensive skills in a more advanced role to help the team pursue qualification for the Round of 16.
