Getafe offer details for Jadon Sancho revealed
The Spanish club has offered the forward a short-term contract with a significantly lower salary compared to his time at Manchester United.
After his contract with Manchester United expired this summer, forward Jadon Sancho has remained a free agent. Recently, rumors have intensified regarding interest from Spanish side Getafe, who are reportedly keen to sign the 26-year-old.
However, the financial terms are vastly different from those he enjoyed in England. Getafe have proposed a contract until the end of the season with a total salary of 400,000 euros. For perspective, Manchester United paid the player nearly 300,000 euros per week.
Despite the massive pay cut, local media report that Jadon is open to the transfer. All eyes are now on the final verdict from Getafe head coach Jose Bordalas.
Last season, the English forward played on loan for Aston Villa, recording one goal and three assists in 39 appearances.
