Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay could be on his way out of the club during the upcoming summer transfer window. According to reports, the player and the Italian side have reached a stalemate regarding new financial terms.
McTominay is reportedly seeking an annual salary of approximately 8 million euros. This figure exceeds the wage structure established by club president Aurelio De Laurentiis, making a contract extension currently unlikely. While the 30-year-old’s existing deal runs until 2028, the club is now valuing the midfielder at 25–30 million euros.
Previously, Manchester United and Aston Villa have shown interest in the Scotland international. McTominay is currently recovering after a minor heart operation and is gradually returning to team training.
