Genoa and Frosinone share points in Serie A draw

Genoa and Frosinone finished level at 1-1 in their Serie A clash. The visitors took an early lead in the 14th minute when Roman Schmid set up Giorgi Kvernadze for a clinical finish.
The home side had a golden opportunity to equalize just before halftime, but Lorenzo Colombo failed to convert a penalty in the 45th minute. Genoa kept up the pressure after the break, and their persistence paid off in the 50th minute when Johan Vasquez headed home from a Daniel Sou corner.
The closing stages were defined by Genoa's defensive effort after Johan Vasquez received a second yellow card in the 87th minute. Frosinone could not capitalize on the man advantage, and the match ended in a draw.
