Francesco Totti on Roma return, Mourinho, and Serie A title hopes

Roma icon Francesco Totti has offered his perspective on the club's current situation and their ambitions in Serie A. Totti believes the team is capable of competing for the title, acknowledging that while Inter Milan have an extra gear, Roma remain a side capable of challenging them. He praised the group's unity and highlighted the impact of the coaching staff.

Looking ahead to the upcoming Champions League match against Real Madrid, Totti noted that it will be a difficult fixture for both teams. He reflected on how the current Madrid side differs from the 'Galácticos' era of his playing days, though he stressed that they must always be treated with respect, especially at the Stadio Olimpico with 70,000 fans in attendance.

Totti also commented on Jose Mourinho, insisting the manager deserves a great welcome given his achievements, including reaching two consecutive European finals. When asked if the time is right for him to return to the club, Totti was firm in his response: "No."

Reflecting on his childhood, Totti shared fond memories of collecting Panini stickers. He recalled the fun of filling albums as a kid, humorously mentioning that he used to stick one specific team's crest upside down, though he kept the identity of that club a secret.
