Italian club Roma, currently sitting at the top of the Serie A table after five matches, has begun identifying targets to strengthen their attack. According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, the club is actively searching for a new winger, exploring both high-profile and budget-conscious options.
A primary target for the club is Real Madrid forward Endrick. The Romans are reportedly hoping to secure a deal similar to the one used for Donyell Malen—a loan with an option to buy. The club remains unfazed by interest from domestic rivals, including AC Milan.
The club's shortlist also features Georgian winger Giorgi Kvernadze, who currently plays for Frosinone. Additionally, Roma has revisited their interest in Jamie Leweling from Stuttgart and Chelsea's Jamie Gittens. With both players struggling for regular playing time, Roma management anticipates that their market value may have decreased since the summer.
Roma is currently enjoying a strong start to the season with 13 points from five games. By adding fresh talent, the club aims to build the squad depth necessary to maintain their position as serious title contenders.
