In the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr delivered a clinical attacking performance to dismantle Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor 6-2 in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite. Joao Felix was the standout performer, directly influencing four of the six goals in a dominant display.
The Portuguese forward opened the scoring sequence in the 15th minute with a precise pass to set up Abdullah Al-Hamdan. Just two minutes later, Felix danced through the defensive line to score himself. By the 32nd minute, he completed his brace after latching onto a pass from Sadio Mane. His creative impact continued into the second half, as his corner kick found Abdulelah Al-Amri for a headed goal in the 53rd minute.
Manager Ange Postecoglou’s second-half substitutions further solidified the victory. Substitute Abdulrahman Ghareeb added the fifth goal in the 62nd minute, and Angelo Gabriel rounded off the scoring in the 79th minute after capitalizing on a strong effort from Al-Hamdan.
The victory marks Al-Nassr's second win in the competition, bringing their tally to six points and providing a significant boost to their continental campaign. Felix, who has now racked up eight goal contributions in his last two games, continues to prove himself as an indispensable asset to Postecoglou's tactical setup.
