In the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship, Dynamo Kyiv secured a 2-0 away victory over Kryvbas. The visitors took an early lead in the 18th minute when Matviy Ponomarenko headed home a cross from captain Andriy Yarmolenko.

Dynamo doubled their advantage just before the break. After a foul by Willy Vilvald on Ponomarenko, the referee awarded a penalty. Andriy Yarmolenko converted from the spot, scoring his 125th goal in the Ukrainian championship and setting a historic all-time record for the league.

However, the milestone moment was marred by a dismissal. Deep into first-half stoppage time, Yarmolenko was shown a straight red card for a rough challenge on Giovani, leaving his team a man down for the entire second half.

After the interval, Kryvbas applied significant pressure to capitalize on their numerical advantage. Dynamo goalkeeper Georgiy Bushchan remained composed, making several crucial saves to preserve the clean sheet. With this win, Dynamo climbed to third place in the UPL standings with 22 points.
