Oleksandr Petrakov after Zorya win: 'When players have fire in their eyes, they are my players'

Kryvbas head coach Oleksandr Petrakov commented on his team's victory in the Ukrainian Cup match against Zorya. The manager expressed satisfaction with his players' commitment to the training process and their drive for results on the pitch.

I am very satisfied. I want to thank the guys. They listen; I see it with my own eyes. There is no such thing as someone turning away or not listening. They execute everything in the training process, and everyone strives for a result. If there is indifference, I do not work with such footballers. But when the guys have fire in their eyes, you understand, these are my players. Oleksandr Petrakov

The coach acknowledged that there were difficulties, including issues with set-pieces and some lapses during the first half, but stated that skill will come through the players' desire. Currently, there is no squad rotation being implemented.

After the cup clash, the team is heading home for recovery sessions and to begin preparations for their upcoming league encounter against Dynamo Kyiv.
