Boca Juniors have officially clinched the Argentine league title after a narrow 1-0 victory over Defensa y Justicia. This result ensures the Buenos Aires club an insurmountable lead in the overall standings.
The club reached 63 points in the table, moving one point clear of Rosario Central. Because the gap is now decisive, the outcomes of the final fixtures will not affect the top spot in the championship.
This marks the 36th league title in the history of the Argentine giant and their first since 2022. Their historic rivals, River Plate, currently hold the record with 38 domestic league titles.
