A move for Tottenham full-back Pedro Porro to Barcelona is unlikely during the upcoming winter transfer window. Although club president Joan Laporta is known to be an admirer of the Spanish defender, the Catalan side is not expected to make an official approach in January.
Reports suggest that Barcelona has opted to shift its transfer priorities for the winter, with the club now focusing on strengthening the center-back position instead. This tactical shift in the transfer market marks a departure from earlier discussions regarding the full-back role.
The 27-year-old Porro has made five appearances across all competitions this season without recording any goal contributions. His market value is currently estimated at 45 million euros.
