Barcelona continue their search for defensive reinforcements, focusing on players who offer high potential or represent strategic market opportunities. One name currently under consideration is Stuttgart centre-back Finn Jeltsch, who has emerged as one of the most promising young talents in German football.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a leader in Stuttgart's back line, impressing with his composure in possession and defensive positioning. His ability to manage open spaces and operate a high defensive line aligns perfectly with the tactical vision of Hansi Flick, who has given the green light for the club to explore a potential move.
Despite the interest, a deal remains challenging. According to reports, Stuttgart are demanding over 60 million euros for the defender. Given Barcelona's current financial constraints, completing a move of this magnitude during the winter transfer window appears unlikely, with a summer approach more plausible.
The competition for Jeltsch is significant, with Real Madrid, Liverpool, Atlético Madrid, and Arsenal also tracking his progress. His development is being closely watched, particularly as the club weighs up options for the future of current defender Ronald Araújo.
