Como midfielder Nicolas Paz could be at the center of a transfer tug-of-war between Spain's two biggest clubs. Reports indicate that Barcelona are showing interest in the 21-year-old Argentine, with head coach Hansi Flick keen to bring him into his squad.
The potential move comes as a surprise, given that Paz is a product of the Real Madrid academy. Real Madrid still hold specific rights to the player, including a buy-back clause valued at 80 million euros.
Barcelona's interest complicates the midfielder's future significantly. The situation will largely depend on whether Real Madrid decides to exercise their right to re-sign the player, potentially forcing a move to prevent their rival from securing his services.
