Cristiano Ronaldo could become a co-owner of Al Nassr, the club he currently represents. The Portuguese star is reportedly leading a consortium of five investors preparing a formal proposal to acquire the Saudi club from the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

The group includes Gerry Cardinale, CEO of RedBird Capital Partners and owner of AC Milan, along with businessmen Ibrahim Al-Muhaidib, Mohammed Al-Khuraiji, and Sharaf Al-Hariri. The financial plan requires a commitment of nearly 100 million euros from each of the five members to inject massive capital into the Riyadh-based club.

Representatives of the consortium are scheduled to hold urgent meetings with the PIF leadership within the next 48 hours. This high-level summit will determine whether the government fund is willing to relinquish control of the club or if the deal will collapse.

Sports analyst Nawaf_STATS highlights that this move would be unprecedented, with the Portuguese icon transitioning from his role as the team's star player to a co-owner. Ronaldo continues to impact the game on the pitch, having recently reached 985 official career goals.
