AC Milan have intensified their pursuit of 22-year-old Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi. The move follows the striker's historic midweek hat-trick against Inter, which powered the Belgian side to a 4-3 Champions League victory at the San Siro.
Tresoldi became only the second visiting player to score a Champions League hat-trick against Inter, matching Gareth Bale's 2010 feat. His recent form, including two hat-tricks in two months, has seen his valuation climb to €50 million.
Beyond the financial demands, the Rossoneri possess a significant advantage in the player's personal allegiances. His father, Emanuele Tresoldi, recently confirmed that his son is a lifelong Milan fan and dreams of wearing the club's shirt, potentially complicating interest from rivals Inter.
The striker is also currently navigating an international tug-of-war between Germany and Italy. Having represented Germany at the youth level, he plans to make a final decision on his senior allegiance after the upcoming Under-21 European Championship. That choice will ultimately dictate whether he works with Jurgen Klopp or Roberto Mancini on the international stage.
