Scottish striker Fraser Hornby has completed a move from Darmstadt 98 to Wolfsburg for an undisclosed fee.
German club Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Scottish striker Fraser Hornby from Darmstadt 98 for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old has committed his future to the club by signing a contract that runs until 2030. Hornby enjoyed a productive campaign last season, netting 13 goals in 27 appearances to help his former side finish fifth in Bundesliga 2.
Hornby's move comes after his time at Darmstadt, which he joined from French side Stade Reims in July 2023. Although he had one year remaining on his contract, he opted for a move away from the club, which was recently relegated from the top flight for the first time in 29 years.
The Northampton-born forward began his professional journey at Everton. Prior to his move to Germany, he also gained experience through loan spells at Aberdeen and Oostende. During his international youth career, he scored 10 goals in 18 appearances for Scotland Under-21s.
