Simone Inzaghi settles Crysencio Summerville's participation in Al-Hilal v MC Alger match

Al-Hilal head coach Simone Inzaghi has provided clarity on the involvement of new Dutch signing Crysencio Summerville in today's friendly match against MC Alger. The Saudi side is currently in Austria for a training camp as they intensify preparations for the 2026/2027 season.

According to reports from Al-Riyadiah, Inzaghi intends to hand the winger a few minutes on the pitch. This cameo is carefully planned to align with the fitness schedule designed for the player following his high-profile transfer from West Ham United, which was reportedly valued at around 80 million euros.

Summerville arrived at the training camp after the team's victory over South African side Mamelodi Sundowns last Friday. Meanwhile, Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves remains unavailable for this fixture, having only recently rejoined the squad following his involvement in the 2026 World Cup. New signing Mohamed Mahzari is also sidelined while he completes standard medical examinations.

A win against MC Alger would mark a successful continuation of the team's training camp. Al-Hilal have already registered two victories in Austria, defeating Sturm Graz 2-1 and Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0.
