Shakhtar announce Champions League squad
The Ukrainian side has registered 29 players for the main stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Shakhtar Donetsk, the sole Ukrainian representative in European competitions this season, has officially announced their squad for the main stage of the UEFA Champions League. The club registered 29 players for the prestigious continental tournament.
The squad includes goalkeepers Kiril Fesyun, Dmytro Riznyk, and Rostyslav Baglay. The defensive line consists of Marlon Santos, Valeriy Bondar, Pedrinho Azevedo, Irakli Azarovi, Vinicius Tobias, Alaa Ghram, Oleksandr Karavaev, and Mykola Matviyenko. The midfield and attack feature Marlon Gomes, Dmytro Kryskiv, Pedrinho da Silva, Newerton, Isaque Silva, Viktor Tsukanov, Gabriel Carvalho, Oleh Ocheretko, Egor Nazaryna, Alisson, Lucas Ferreira, Denys Smetana, Ryan Roberto, Gleyker Mendoza, Bruninho, Lassina Traore, Kauan Elias, and Luca Meirelles.
Several young talents are included via List B, providing the coaching staff with tactical flexibility throughout the competition.
Shakhtar will kick off their European campaign on September 10 with an away match against PSV.
