Mendoza emphasized the significance of the result for both the squad and the supporters. The player expressed gratitude to his family and those who facilitated his move to the club, noting that he is eager to build on this current form.

Reflecting on the match dynamics, Mendoza admitted the game was challenging. He noted that his instructions from the coaching staff focused on improving defensive work and maintaining a compact presence in the center. He added that the goal scored by Tobias provided some relief, but the team had to remain focused until the final whistle to secure the result.
