Scott McTominay heart procedure 'a complete success'
Napoli confirmed Scott McTominay's heart surgery was a success, with the midfielder expected to resume training later this month.

Napoli and Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay has successfully undergone a heart procedure. The club confirmed that the intervention was a complete success and that the player is now on the road to recovery.
The ablation procedure was performed on Tuesday morning at Spire Manchester Hospital. The corrective treatment was necessary after a mild benign arrhythmia was discovered, which was identified following McTominay's substitution in the 56th minute of Napoli's match against Como on 30 August.
Napoli have confirmed that the former Manchester United player will take two weeks of rest before resuming his training schedule. McTominay himself sent a message to fans via social media, stating he would return to action shortly.
Cardiac arrhythmia ablation involves the use of heat or cold energy to create precise, tiny scars in the heart tissue. This process helps block faulty electrical signals, effectively restoring a typical and steady heartbeat.
