Jadon Sancho is considering a potential move to Getafe. According to reports from the UK, the Madrid-based club has submitted a formal offer, with the player offered a salary of approximately 400,000 euros per year. The Englishman is currently evaluating the proposal and has requested a meeting with head coach Jose Bordalas before making a final decision.
The move comes amidst internal friction at Getafe between Bordalas and club president Angel Torres. The coach had previously expressed frustration over unfulfilled promises regarding summer signings for a squad expected to compete in the Conference League.
Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid is weighing the activation of a purchase option for Jonathan David. According to Sky Sports, the Spanish club is prepared to pay 25 million euros to Juventus to make his loan deal permanent. The player is reportedly open to remaining in Madrid, and discussions between the parties are expected soon.
In other news, Valencia has secured the future of young winger David Otorbi, who signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2031.
