Richarlison's future at Tottenham remains in limbo after negotiations regarding a move to Turkish giants Trabzonspor reached an impasse. The north London club rejected an opening bid of approximately 20 million euros, which falls well short of their 35 million pound valuation.
According to ESPN Brazil, Mohamed Salah and former international teammate Fabinho have reached out directly to Richarlison to advocate for a switch to the Turkish Super Lig. The Brazilian forward is keen for a fresh start, having grown increasingly frustrated with his current situation at the club.
Tensions have escalated following head coach Roberto De Zerbi's decision to exile the player from the first-team squad. Richarlison is currently training with the under-21s after being deemed surplus to requirements for the remainder of the campaign.
Time is running out, with the Turkish transfer window set to close on September 4. Unless a deal is struck, Richarlison faces the prospect of months without competitive match action, forcing him to either look toward other open markets like Saudi Arabia or remain sidelined until the January window.
