39-year-old Spanish forward Pedro has officially announced his retirement from professional football. His final club was Lazio, where he spent the last five seasons, maintaining a high level of performance and serving as an experienced leader for the team.
Pedro's professional journey began within the Barcelona system. The Catalan club served as the primary stage for his development into a world-class talent. During his time at the Camp Nou, he won numerous prestigious honors, including the Champions League and La Liga. In 2015, he moved to England to join Chelsea, where he added Premier League and Europa League titles to his trophy cabinet.
Pedro also enjoyed immense success with the Spain national team, playing a pivotal role in their historic dominance by winning the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012. Throughout his professional career, Pedro made 889 appearances, scoring 218 goals and providing 106 assists, while securing a total of 26 major team trophies.
