Patrick Wimmer joins Hoffenheim from Wolfsburg
The 25-year-old Austrian winger has signed a contract with Hoffenheim until 2031, leaving relegated Wolfsburg.

Hoffenheim have officially announced the signing of winger Patrick Wimmer. The 25-year-old Austrian player departs Wolfsburg to join his new club on a long-term contract running until the summer of 2031.
According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee is set at ten million euros. Wimmer was productive last season, registering four goals and six assists in 27 appearances.
The move follows a contrasting season for the two clubs. Hoffenheim finished fifth in the Bundesliga, while Wolfsburg suffered relegation after losing a playoff series against Paderborn.
