Barcelona has officially confirmed a contract extension for academy product Espart. The 19-year-old talent has committed his future to the club with a new deal running until June 2030.
The player was officially promoted to the first team in August, taking the number 12 jersey. While his previous agreement was set to expire in 2028, his rapid development persuaded the club to revise the terms and extend the partnership by an additional two seasons.
Espart is highly valued for his tactical flexibility, capable of playing both as a left-back and in central midfield. This season, he has already scored his first goal for the senior side and continues to gain valuable experience at the highest level.
Barcelona's decision highlights their commitment to developing homegrown players. The club views the youngster as a key prospect for the coming years as they look to integrate him further into the first-team setup.
