Panenka perfection! Real Madrid brush Sevilla aside with 4-1 win

Real Madrid maintained their flawless record at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, securing a dominant 4-1 victory over Sevilla on matchday nine of La Liga. Los Blancos have now won all six home matches across all competitions, scoring 19 goals while conceding only four.

Arda Guler opened the scoring around the 30-minute mark with a magnificent left-footed strike from the edge of the box. Kylian Mbappe doubled the lead before half-time, finishing sharply after a clever backheel pass from Jude Bellingham.

In the second half, Mbappe earned a penalty and converted it with a nonchalant Panenka chip. Although Manu Bueno pulled one back for the visitors, Yan Diomande responded immediately with a brilliant solo effort. The match also marked the return of Eder Militao, who made his first appearance since April.

It was a good game globally for Real Madrid with many players at a high individual level. We controlled it from the first to the last minute and scored quality goals. Jose Mourinho

Manager Jose Mourinho expressed satisfaction with his team's tactical execution and possession play. With the domestic victory secured, Real Madrid now shifts focus to their midweek Champions League clash against RB Leipzig.
