Former Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has issued a stern warning to Julian Nagelsmann regarding a potential move to Manchester United. Speaking on Sky Germany, the former executive urged the German coach to think carefully before committing to his next managerial role.

Kahn highlighted the lack of stability that has plagued the dugout at Old Trafford in recent years. "He has to ask himself: what is my next move? And should it be the right move? Or do I immediately associate myself with a huge risk like Manchester United, where almost every coach has failed in recent years, sooner or later? He should study carefully the place he is going to," Kahn stated.

Kahn also noted that Nagelsmann's recent spells at Bayern Munich and with the German national team, which did not fully meet expectations, have left his career at a crossroads. He questioned whether the German's managerial profile is the right fit for a club currently struggling to climb the table and rejoin the European elite.

Nagelsmann is currently available after leaving the German national team, while pressure on Michael Carrick is mounting following a string of poor results, including a defeat to Como. Reports suggest that German director Christoph Freund is pushing for Nagelsmann to be the top candidate should the board decide to replace Carrick early in the season.
