Milos Kerkez urges focus as Liverpool face grueling Champions League fixture list

Following a solid 2-0 away victory over Ipswich Town, Liverpool defender Milos Kerkez is urging his teammates to remain grounded. While the result at Portman Road provided the Reds with their first three points of the campaign, Kerkez believes the true success lies in the team's improved tactical discipline and commitment to their manager's philosophy.

"It's really nice. I think we were in the game since the first minute. It's what we talked about in the first two games that we need to do better. I think we did that outstanding. I'm happy with the boys and overall how aggressive we went," said Milos Kerkez.

The transition to Andoni Iraola’s tactical setup requires the squad to adapt to high-intensity pressing. Kerkez acknowledges that sustaining this energy for the full 90 minutes is a significant challenge, making compactness and constant communication essential. As Liverpool prepares for three consecutive home matches at Anfield, physical and mental endurance will be tested.
