Miguel Borja ready for América debut

Colombian forward Miguel Borja is officially ready to make his debut for América. After passing his medical examinations last Thursday, the player has been at the disposal of manager Guillermo Almada, though he was not selected for the recent cup fixture.

His registration in Liga MX has now been finalized. The player appears in the official league database and will wear the #93 jersey for his time with the club. This signing marks a significant addition for the league leaders, who had previously pursued the striker during the last transfer window.

While it remains to be seen if Almada will deploy him in the upcoming match against Puebla, Borja is fully prepared to play if called upon. His last competitive appearance dates back to May 15, when he played for Al-Wasl.

América currently sits at the top of the Liga MX standings as an undefeated leader. The squad will return to domestic play to face Puebla at Estadio Azteca on August 29.
