Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin during the winter transfer window. The club is reportedly active in the market for a central forward, and the 29-year-old Englishman has emerged as a serious candidate.
The interest has intensified due to injury concerns within the squad. With Benjamin Sesko suffering a calf injury that could sideline him for a significant period, Michael Carrick's options in attack have become severely limited. This has prompted the club's hierarchy to look for an experienced reinforcement.
Calvert-Lewin has shown strong form since joining Leeds as a free agent in the summer of 2025. This season, he has recorded four goals in eight Premier League appearances, and he has scored 20 goals in 49 matches for the Yorkshire side across all competitions.
United representatives are currently evaluating the feasibility of a January deal. His time at Leeds has seen him return to peak performance following a challenging period of injuries and inconsistent form at Everton, a revival that has also earned him renewed attention from the England national team staff.
