Liverpool have officially confirmed that 18-year-old defender Ifeanyi Ndukwe has joined Spanish side Levante on loan. The agreement will see the player remain in Spain until the summer of 2027.
Ndukwe arrived at the Merseyside club in early 2026 but has yet to make a competitive appearance for the first team. Despite featuring for the senior squad during pre-season friendly matches, bureaucratic hurdles prevented him from playing in official fixtures.
The club explained that the primary factor behind the move is the player's inability to obtain a work permit in the United Kingdom. Consequently, Liverpool sought an alternative career path for the youngster to ensure he continues his development abroad.
Before his move to England, the defender developed through the youth ranks at Austrian side Austria Wien, where he managed to make one senior appearance.
