Colombia U-15 Thrash Eswatini in FIFA Tournament Debut
Colombia's U-15 team started their FIFA festival campaign in Azerbaijan with a dominant 6-1 victory over Eswatini.
The Colombia U-15 national team made a strong start to the new FIFA youth festival taking place in Azerbaijan, defeating Eswatini 6-1 in their opening match.
Guided by head coach Francisco López, the team delivered an impressive performance. Matías Castro and Esneider García both netted braces, while Eduardo Luquerna and Juan Burbano rounded off the scoring for the Colombian side.
The tournament features a unique format with 8-a-side matches played on 68x47-meter pitches. This developmental structure, featuring two 20-minute halves, is designed by FIFA to maximize the skill development of the participating young prospects.
Following this victory, Colombia continues its campaign in Group M. The team is scheduled to face Samoa and the Dominican Republic on October 25 as they look to build on their strong start.
