Juventus maintains its interest in young AZ Alkmaar forward Benedeguz Kovacs. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the 19-year-old Hungarian remains on the shortlist of candidates to bolster the Italian club's attacking line.
Juventus attempted to approach the player for a transfer last summer. However, AZ reached an agreement with the forward on a new deal, securing his services until 2029. This significantly complicated a potential move and forced the Turin outfit to put their initial plans on hold.
Despite this, Kovacs remains on the radar of the club's management. Juventus continues to evaluate his development before making any definitive decisions regarding further steps in the transfer market. The interest in the Hungarian is driven by his high potential and performance at the youth level, having scored nine goals in six UEFA Youth League matches last season before earning regular minutes with the senior AZ squad. Additionally, he has already made his debut for the senior Hungary national team.
