Senegalese midfielder Pape Matar Sarr is set to depart Tottenham this summer. The 23-year-old informed manager Roberto De Zerbi of his desire to leave, prompting the North London club to begin seeking a new destination for him.
Juventus have acted quickly to secure the player on a one-year loan agreement. The Italian side will pay a €2 million fee, with an option to purchase the midfielder permanently for €28 million.
This buy option becomes mandatory if specific conditions are met, including the player featuring in at least 50% of the team's matches and the club qualifying for either the UEFA Champions League or Europa League.
An official announcement is expected soon. Sarr made 37 appearances last season, contributing two goals and four assists.
