Julián Álvarez has returned to training with the main group at «Atlético Madrid». The Argentine forward rejoined his teammates for the Sunday morning session, marking his first appearance after missing a series of practices due to what head coach Diego Simeone described as an "indisposition."
This development comes amid ongoing speculation regarding potential interest from other clubs, though recent reports suggesting alternative transfer deals for other targets make it increasingly likely that Álvarez will remain with the Colchoneros for the rest of the season.
He is in his personal process and we will be here once again to repeat that from a sporting point of view we will try to help him and that he helps us, because he is an extraordinary player. Diego Simeone
Last week, Álvarez was left out of the squad for the match against «Sevilla», which Atlético won 3-1. Previously, during the game against «Villarreal», the player was jeered by fans, prompting the club to instruct him to head straight to the dressing room rather than acknowledging the crowd with his teammates.
It remains to be seen whether the coaching staff will include Álvarez in the squad for the upcoming LaLiga fixture against «Athletic Club» on September 5. His return to the pitch suggests a commitment to remaining in Madrid at least until the winter transfer window.
