Haris Belkebla to extend contract with Angers

Algerian midfielder Haris Belkebla is set to sign a one-year deal with Angers, with options for two additional seasons based on Ligue 1 survival.

Midfielder Haris Belkebla is set to continue his career with Angers. Following the expiration of his contract on June 30, the 32-year-old Algeria international has reached an agreement with the club's leadership to remain in Anjou.

The new deal is for one year, with two additional years as options. These will be automatically activated in the summers of 2027 and 2028, provided the club maintains its status in Ligue 1.

Belkebla has become a cornerstone of the squad after two full seasons, missing only one match in the recent campaign. Highly regarded for his work rate and attitude, the veteran midfielder captained the side for almost the entire season, except when veteran Pierrick Capelle was named in the starting lineup for the final five Ligue 1 matches.
