The French Football Federation is working on the creation of a Hall of Fame dedicated to the most significant figures in the history of the France national team. According to Canal+, the project is expected to be operational by 2027.
The initiative aims to honor former players, coaches, and other individuals who have made substantial contributions to the national team's history. The federation is currently considering housing the project within or near its headquarters. While a precise opening date has not yet been set, the project marks a shift toward a more systematic approach to recognizing national team legends.
Didier Deschamps has emerged as a primary candidate for early recognition. Discussions are already underway regarding a potential special ceremony for the long-time coach in 2027. Deschamps holds a unique status in the history of Les Bleus, having represented the team as a player before leading them to one of their most successful eras as head coach.
