France international Estelle Cascarino has officially joined West Ham on a permanent basis. The 29-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract following a successful six-month loan spell at the club.

During her loan stint last season, Cascarino made 12 appearances in all competitions, playing a pivotal role in helping the team climb from the bottom of the Women's Super League table to finish 10th.

I feel really happy to be back at West Ham United. I made the decision quickly that I wanted to be back here permanently. From the beginning, this club has felt like home. Estelle Cascarino

Before her move to England, Cascarino spent three years at Italian side Juventus, where she made 49 appearances and won the league title, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italiana. West Ham manager Rita Guarino noted that retaining a defender of Cascarino's quality was a top priority for the club's progress this season.
