Eduardo Camavinga attends Harvard after World Cup omission
Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is taking a Harvard Business School course after being left out of France's World Cup squad.
Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has turned to education after being omitted from the France squad for the upcoming World Cup. The 23-year-old has completed a short course in the business of entertainment, media and sports at Harvard Business School.
Sharing his experience on social media, Camavinga posted a photo of his certificate alongside an update from the campus. "A few days of learning, listening and growing," he wrote. "Grateful for the experience at Harvard Business School."
France manager Didier Deschamps explained the decision to leave the midfielder out of his 2026 World Cup squad, citing the player's recent season, injuries, and the intense competition for places. While acknowledging Camavinga has the right to feel frustrated, Deschamps noted that he remains confident in the player's potential.
While Camavinga takes time to focus on his personal development, his Real Madrid teammates, including Kylian Mbappe and Aurelien Tchouameni, are preparing to represent France. Their campaign begins with a match against Senegal on Tuesday, June 16.
